MAP PACK: New Hampshire Fire Towers
Download · Instructions

New Hampshire has over twenty standing fire towers that have served the state for up to a century, helping locate small fires and preventing them from becoming major wildfires. Many are still in use today. Trailspotting has visited all of these towers and published trail review articles on each, describing the best ways to explore them.

This Trailspotting Map Pack is a single download that you can use with your smartphone to guide you to each of the towers. Our Map Packs even work when you're offline, and they're free for personal use. Also, once you've visited a tower, delete it from your personal copy of the Map Pack so you can track how many fire towers you have yet to visit.

This map pack includes all 15 fire towers included in the State of New Hampshire's Fire Tower Quest challenge, but also some other spectacular examples. Those not included in the NH Quest are marked with an 'x' in the Map Pack.
