Snowboarders will find Sierra at Tahoe particularly appealing with a great variety of (mostly intermediate) mountain runs, tree boarding and terrain parks.

You’ll find this medium sized resort to the south of Lake Tahoe on the US-50. Being the closest resort on this road to the huge populations of San Francisco and the Central Valley can make this resort very busy on weekends and holidays. Ticket prices here are often cheaper than other resorts so this tends to compound the issue of crowds, but hit the park on a weekday and you’ll be a happy 'boarder.
