Heavenly Mountain Resort is without any doubt the largest of the Lake Tahoe resorts. Situated above the southern shores of the lake, the ski resort boasts the most lifts and the most skiable terrain and is so big that it even crosses the state line into Nevada.
Heavenly gondola whisks you onto the slopes from the middle of downtown South Lake Tahoe, a city which makes a great base for a getaway vacation, featuring many hotels, motels, restaurants, casinos and cinemas. Park up at this place and forget about your car for a few days.
Alternatively you can avoid all the fuss and the bustle of the town by driving straight up to one of the three other mountain access lodges and be on the slopes in no time. All mountain access points, as well as all lodges and ski lifts can been explored from our maps and GPS download links.
