Popular with the Hollywood set of the 1940s and 50s it's unfortunate that you won't find many movie stars on the slopes of Sugar Bowl today, but you will find thousands of acres of great skiing and snowboarding.
Frequent visitors recommend starting out the day on the West side over by the Disney Express and Crows Nest lifts to avoid the weekend crowds. The quickest way to access these is by parking on the side of the I-40, walking across the road and taking the gondola over to the Village Lodge.
